Default Craft I made today. Hanging dress barrette holder.

I saw something similar in a store the other day at the mall and figured I could probably make it myself. Here is my first try at it. It's a barrette holder. You hang it on the wall and then you clip barrettes on the black ribbon hanging down in front.

I feel like it still needs something on the upper body area.....but I'm not sure what or if it looks better just the way it is. The black round things on the waist area, right where the black ribbon strips start are actually little black flowers.

I'm thinking about selling them if I ever get an ETSY shop up and running.

I love it!!! You did a great job, and those would totally sell on Etsy!

Thanks! They were selling for 30 bucks in the store at the mall & I have seen them online (I was looking around tonight) for 30-40 bucks.....I think that is crazy! I would never sell it for that much.

So cute.... you could put a pink rosette at the neckline or add some sequins around the neckline also. Or even a ruffle made from the tulle. And then put a rosette on it.

You did a very nice job. Top shelf stuff!

I think its cute! I like it the way it is but I agree that if you felt something is missing, a rosette may do the trick.

Looks great!
If you'd like to put something on the body maybe you could leave it up to the customer & add in the childs first initial.
Just a thought.
