Winter Blues

Summers air has all but faded
Winters solace thus arrived
The cheery laughs that long since played
Are whispers amongst the sky
This dreary season weeps upon me
The sun hidden tho it shines
I wait again for springtime follies
As i slumber in this snowy twine.

hehe thank you so much I don't usually share my poetry (due to self judgement issues lol) but I really need to get back out there. So i just whipped that one up to share with everyone. If I get some new ones, I will be sure to post them.

That was awesome by the way. Had NO IDEA you wrote poetry! I would share, but haven't written in years. and every thing I have written is packed away in the states. It's probably good that I have written anything because I tend to only write good poetry when I'm in a bad place.

thank you yeah i haven't written in a bit, and I am the same way i only write when i am in a bad place, hence why my poetry is rarely cheerful. tho apparently i can write it whenever i choose. you should give it a shot tho, its great food for the soul.

And all her face was honey to my mouth,

The quivering flanks, hair smelling of the south,
The bright light feet, the splendid supple thighs
And glittering eyelids of my soul's desire.
That was awesome!
