Default Spring Bug

Anyone else getting that Spring bug? It's not starting to warm up that much but the sun has been out and it's infecting me already! I thought it was just nesting since I was cleaning like crazy (today was the living room...down to orgnaizing Kari's toys) but today I suddenly really wanted to start my spring planting.

I think it's my AeroGarden plants doing it. I can smell them now...and they are just tomato plants.

They look kind of droopy in the picture and they've stretched up to the light since then but this is just less than a month of growth and I already need to attach the trellis system. I'm thinking this weekend I will put together my indoor greenhouse and starting my seedlings. I know Kari will have a blast helping me!

I'm very excited! It is in the forty's here!! And I love it! My friends and I sat in the sun for an hour outside today! Once the snow is completely melted we all plan to start our gardens

The high has been in the thirties lately so the snow has at least melted but it's not warm enough for much else. I have a greenhouse that is small enough to be inside for seedlings and then move to the back porch when it warms up. We bought all of our seeds and nursery trays and stuff like two months ago and they've just been sitting there teasing me.

You must not have had as much snow piled up as we did! It has been in the 40s past two days, and the sun has been nice and bright. Yet the ground is still covered! There is a good 2 inches still packed out there! But it really really needs to go away

We had a warm spell between our last two snows so that helped. The only snow left here is in the shadows behind fences...which means about half of my backyard and my front steps still have er but a light layer but that is all.

As soon as it gets warm we have a bunch of outside for Kari and my MIL is giving us a canopy table that we are going to repaint and put out back. (We have a huge back deck that runs the length of the house with doors from the master bedroom and kitchen...great for entertaining and even has gates down the backstairs to contain Kari.)
