unique guest book for small wedding or shower

i thought this top idea in this link was such a fun unique idea - basically the idea is instead of having people sign the book, they sign a riverrock with their name and put it in a vase. then you can take the vase home and put it on display.

the gal who's blog this is talks about a spin she put on it for a shower in which everyone put an attirbute of the person on the rock "fun", "hilarious", "generous", etc, instead of their name.

That is awesome! It is something that will last forever and can be passed down through the generations! Even added too. It would be cool to have it for every part of their life, like start out with the river rocks for wedding, maybe a pink rock with saying for baby girl, and so forth, it would be layerd but it would symbolize their life together....HMMMM
